Pro Tip: If you’re ever having a bad day or just want to have a better day, look up “yellow lab puppy” on Tumblr.

A rott/lab (?) mix female puppy was found in Portland yesterday evening around Killingsworth and 60th Street.

She’s probably about 3 months old, still has her baby teeth and is pretty great. I met her today when Ollie was at the vet (don’t worry, my boy is fine). She wasn’t microchipped and no one has reached out to her current foster mom, who has been posting information online. 

The pup (Riley is her current name) is incredibly friendly and smart… and may be looking for a forever home if we can’t find her actual family.

The smaller of these two chihuahuas was abandoned in Hollywood on Friday night. My friends took him in, but cannot keep him for themselves. I’m helping out in spreading the word. He’s very young and very sweet. Honestly, they think he may have been a discarded Christmas present. 

So let’s use social media to spread the word that a really cute and nice pup needs a home. I swear I will repost the happy ending to this story as soon as I get it. 

Plus? You could raise him to be not a tiny ankle-biting stereotype! And he’s so young you can name him whatever you want — Gizmo! Stripe! The possibilities are endless!
